WB place leather jacket refurbishment

Hello

I was wondering if anyone out there , would have any experience refurbishing/ conditioning buckskin leather jackets that have faded and dried out a bit. These Jackets were made by WB Place Company in the 50/60s i'm told . I am looking to recondition them. to give them a new lease of life. There seems to be two kinds of finish to the leather : One is a gloss polished finish and is very dark brown, whilst the other is a kind of satin finish and a little lighter in color. Im reticent to start experimenting on these jackets witout some sound advive first. If anyone could help me out i'd be very appreciative !

Be very careful when choosing conditioners for these jackets. Deerskin handles wax and oils differently than cow or horse. The wrong product can leave your garments feeling sticky or stiff- basically ruining them.

Yes , absolutely. Thats my big problem. I've experimented with a few onan old piece of deerskin and frankly i'm non the wiser
