Walden Miller "Magnum" steerhide motorcycle jacket.
Coming from eBay Australia , I bought this jacket tonight.
The "mom and pop" family who have made these jackets in Australia are retiring and closing down the business.
End of an era AND a sign of the times.
Their jackets were available in Kangaroo when ordered bespoke.
I was sorry to miss that !
I will post more photos in this thread once it arrives to me.

I should add that at one time this maker produced the Australian police jackets, at the time when coppers wore leather jackets.

Update on this jacket.

Fits "big" so it will be a winter jacket for Australian use, with a sweatshirt or wool jumper layer.

All the vents work well, as you would expect from a Motorcycle leather jacket specialist manufacturer.

Quality of stitching etc as good as any Euro/UK maker

I remember Sator (who was something of a subject matter expert on tailoring on the forums about 15 years ago, until he married a woman who disliked menswear so he turned against it) talking about how lots of the fairly recent (60s and 70s for instance) Australian tailoring had more handwork than Brioni. (Also this wasn't his personal opinion; he was relaying it from some of the bespoke tailors in Sydney.)
