Wabash vintage print t-shirts

I picked up a couple of t-shirts from this company. Interesting concept: using the wabash discharge printing method to create the images rather than simply sticking a transfer image on to the front, thus avoiding any issues about shrinkage and ironing (it's literally part of the t-shirt). Nice array of images, I picked up the bomber command and overalls ones - good quality shirt and the designs are spot-on:

Interesting idea. Back when I wore tees regularly, I always liked ones that were done by screen-printing with a stencil, as they never cracked or wore in the same way as a modern printed tee does. Isn't wabash, in effect, the same thing except in reverse - i.e. bleaching darker cloth to make it selectively lighter?

These look well done. Very sharp images.

Yeah, it means that they're effectively part of the shirt, so they age as a single whole. Also, avoids the design being accidentally pulled if it's caught by an iron.
