Both of my items that were held up have arrived. Your suit will arrive; never fear.

p.s. I have found that hat and will be getting measurements to you tomorrow morning!

I'll keep holding my breath 'till I turn red.

BTW: The suit comes in from the UK, not the US, so thirteen days IS quite a long time...

On the other hand I just shipped a hat to a fellow lounger in London and it took exactly five days to travel from my post office to his door. [huh]

Mario man, that scarf is just wild man:eusa_clap .

Thanks! Yes, I like it a lot. And it just happens to go nicely with those Florsheim Oxfords I purchased recently. Attention to detail! :D

At least!

Yesterday I finally resolved to write a mail to the seller to let him know that I've written off the suit for good. This morning my doorbell suddenly started screaming at me and chased my badly birthday party ridden self out of bed. When I opened the door (still looking dazedly into a dozen or so directions at the same time) I slowly realized that the green, tentacled postman (that's what I asume it was) had just handed me the stray suit! I couldn't believe it and just muttered something utterly unintellegible. The alien postman gave me a funny look, turned around and left me standing there, gawking at the thing he just gave me. It really was the suit! Next week it will be off to my tailor to have the waist on both the pants and the jacket taken in and the cuffs let out (I really hate to do this, but those legs of mine usually do not permit cuffs on my pants).

I'll let you know as soon as it's finished.

What a great way to start the day! :D

No to try to top your sad scarf story, but I was stuck in Rome for three additional days because of the volcano. Talk about messing up your life!

Luckily, I your scarf and suit have all made it to our final destinations!:eusa_clap

On page one of this thread, LaMedicine told a story about a friend who got stuck in Vienna for almost a whole week because that volcano lost its temper. She's now very afraid of her credit card bill... :eusa_doh:
