Visiting Mushmans in-person

Hi all,

I'm planning a trip to Tokyo in February of next year and I was wondering if it's worth going to check out Mushmans in-person. I've seen a few threads here and there about ordering from Mushmans online, but nothing on the in-person experience. From what I can tell on Google Maps, it looks amazing, but it's also about an hour out of the way in Koshigaya.

Factors that would make it worth it to me would be if they have a stock of Rainbow Country to try in-person, which I guess I could check against their online site, or if they do duty-free which General Garden in Ueno does not, as far as I know.

Imho, if you’re going that far out from tokio might as well go to barnstormers in gotemba.

They carry more brands, including rc, than any other shop I’ve seen in japan and they were doing no-tax and international shipping awhile back when I dealt with them.

Check out this recent video to get an idea of the size of the store and their stock, they carry more brands, including rc, than any other shop I’ve seen in japan and they were doing no-tax and international shipping awhile back when I dealt with them.

That’s the highest number of leather jackets I’ve ever seen in a store! I’d be like a kid in the candy store—so many to try on and choose from!

Wow, I just took a look at their Brands list on their website and they have everything I could think to try on, both for jackets and pants.

Now I just gotta convince the lady to head out to Gotemba!

There’s a golf course and several museums nearby, there’s also a second story in that shop with more jackets that’s not shown in the video.

I’m planning a trip for next year and I already have an airbnb picked out that’s right by that place because I know I’m gonna need at least a couple days in there.
Got any other stores on the list to visit I should check out?

I’m shamelessly copying your homework here.

Danny store up north in hokkaido has a lot of inventory as well but it’s mostly fc umbrella brands, I plan to visit electric leather studio, tenjin works and some second hand stores like 2nd Street as well.
2nd hand stores specialize on leather jacket or with other vintage stuffs?
