HarpPlayerGene - those look to be 50's to me...btw, Sanforization was patented in 1930. Not all items that are Sanforized are from 1950's or later.

I used to have a poster of this iconic 1932 photo hanging in my bedroom around 15 years ago..it inspired me to buy my first newsboy cap and vintage work boots. I still wear both of them.

I had posted the release party details for this book both here (repro workwear thread) and on the FB Lounge page, asking if anyone was planning to attend. It went ignored in both locations.

Hope some lounge members attended anyway.

But if the party was as good as the book I'm sorry I missed it.

That shirt is great.

I didn't do nearly as well, but for $2, this 70s Cap'n Jac wasn't just going to sit in the thrift store. The buttons were once painted white, but most of that is gone now. I'm thinking of tacking the collar down to keep it from flaring and screaming 70s.
