Have you used this? doesn't look like you have yet. I saw one like it in an atique store complete with the "collar" and wondered if it works well. If you you have used it or do so in the future I would love to know how it works.

I haven't fired it up yet, but it lived in the same cupboard for decades, so I hope it all works!

Oh my - that is just too pretty for words! I've had several waffle of that type (though not nearly as nice) over the years and they are simply the best waffle irons you can get. And since they usually work forever, you'll never have to get another one.
