Vest width across front, including part of rear material: 18 1/2
Vest length: 23 1/2 (measured from top of collar to tip, down front).
Trouser Waist: 16 1/2 (double for size)
Trouser Inseam: 29 (+2 1/2)
Three piece suits are becoming increasingly rare--which is a pity, as they're a classic and elegant item of traditional menswear. Everyone should have one!
This is a lovely vintage example from Hart, Shaffner and Marx.
It is cut from a lighter mid-weight wool cloth in a classic and versatile grey with subtle and elegant pinstriping in red, cream, and blue.
The jacket is a contemporary two button model with darting, a single center vent, and four button cuffs. It is fully lined and half-canvassed.
The vest features four functional front pockets.
The trousers are flat front and uncuffed.
This suit was Union Made in the USA in 1984.
It could use a dry clean to freshen it up, but once done this will be in excellent condition.
As it is now, it is in Very Good condition.
