More everyday people, 1929. Don't know who they are but look plenty vernacular (?) to me.

Beautiful photograph, Hadley - is it an early color photographic process or an exceptionally well done job of hand coloring?

Warbaby, i honestly don't know ... may be is an early color process, but then the cheeks look like they have been hand colored, it's hard to say...

Warbaby, this vernacular with Saint Bernard is hand painted for sure. Circa 1920s.

The hand-coloured photo makes the children look like they were photographed yesterday, it brings it closer to home, so to speak.

If they're alive, they're in their 80s or 90s I'd guess...

Amazing how modern she looks with the long, loose hair, the relaxed pose. The whole shot reminds me of a Ralph Lauren picture only better because it is the real thing. Do you know who she is and where it was taken?
