Spending the next week in Austin and was wondering if there are any good men's vintage clothing shops. Looking more for workwear than western, which might be a tall order. All suggestions welcome.

Thanks in advance.

I’ve never been to Austin, but I’d think it would be a good town for vintage stores. Students, tourists, etc. And it’s Texas, so cowboy drag wouldn’t feel too darned costume-y.

Well, I think that we must've hit every vintage store of note in Austin. Had a great time.

It's pretty convenient because most shops are centered near two locations.

On Guadalupe St. where it intersects with 29th St. there are at least 6 vintage shops, including one that specializes in workwear. The others are all decent. I particularly liked Lo-Fi, which was really well curated.

The second location is on N. Loop Blvd. near Ave. F. Another set of at least 5 vintage shops.

My wife was able to score a number of really good deals. I didn't really see anything that struck my fancy. But, we had a great time.
