I am clearing out the hats I don’t wear or are too small. I bought this hat on eBay a couple of years ago knowing it was a top quality hat with a disclosed “repair.” When it arrived, I barely noticed the repair until I starting messing with it and the “repair” came out leaving the holes as shown. I decided to make a project hat out of it since I had been wanting to try a John Wayne-styled hat for a while and the holes (only visible from the top) wouldn’t matter. While I am very happy with the way it turned out, it’s not something I am ever going to wear regularly and maybe someone here would get more use of it. As noted it is a Resistol “Chute,” in a light grey color (“mist”), 7X, size 7-3/8, the brim is 3-1/2” wide, and the crown as creased is about 5-1/2” tall. Asking $65.00 shipped in the U.S. As for trades, all I am currently looking for is a straw Open Road in a 7-1/2.
