Here are a few I have been drooling over. The last MCall one is just about my favorite ever.

Love the jacket on the first one! And I like the Katharine Hepburn one. Usually when I see the Hollywood patterns I don't really connect the outfit with the actress, but that really looks like something she'd wear/has worn (I don't know!) in a movie.

I'd love McCall's 5359

I noticed (from the 9-12-08 post) that Joie DeVive has the purple dress from this pattern. The purple dress was the only one I liked! So if you still have it, and would like to unload it, I'd love to arrange to get McCall's 5359 from you. I'm the same size you are, too - 36 bust, 28 waist, 39 hip, but resizing the pattern is no problem for me.

I'm not really aiming to "unload it", but I'll tell you what, get your 15 posts in, PM me, and we'll talk.

I love this pattern. Ive been in love for a while. I dont know why, but then again, you can rarely explain love :)
Ive seen a few around, but Im looking for one in a 38 (thats the largest size it was made in).
Keep your eyes out for me ladies!

What's weird is I just popped onto ebay, and that top pattern came up, but in a 14/32. Is there anyway you can work from the smaller pattern?

Ive been keeping my eye on a 34 bust (no bids yet), but its such a pain to grade :rage: Im hoping to find the largest size I could. Make my headaches a bit easier.

I've fallen in love again. This time, I'll take anything 34 and up! Princess seams are much easier to grade.

Now you're gonna have a ton of people asking you for copies :D I'll trade copies with you. Do you only use 32?

Wanted: Theresa Laquey Swing Dress pattern

Hi gals, I did have this pattern and lent it out (never again) Does anyone have a link to a site still selling it or one that they'd part with in a big size?

Here's hoping.

Hi Everyone!
I'm new to this forum and was wondering if anyone would be willing to trade/sell me a copy of any of these patterns! I would love for the pattern to be close to my size ( 36dd-30-34 ) but will settle for any other size available! Thank you all for your time! My sincerest apologizes if I'm not posting right!!

This has got to be the most versatile pattern Ive seen in a while :)
If anyone has or knows where to find it (in a 40 bust or larger) please let me know.

Thanks bunches,

LD

Just so you know, when you are looking for patterns, your bust size is you actual
bust measurement, not your bra size.

thank you

Thank you crwritt!
Can you tell I'm new to vintage patterns? Gosh I'm on this Alfred Shaheen kick right now but don't know much about clothing construction so I thought maybe if I can start with a pattern I'll better understand how the sarong dress is put together. Anyway thanks for correcting me!
