1996 is not exactly vintage, but I recently rewatched Neil Jordan's Michael Collins, and very much enjoyed the three piece suits worn by Liam Neeson in the titular role:
The suits were exact copies, beautifully accurate in their details, of those worn by the actual Michael Collins. Many other wonderful suits in the film - including those worn by Brendan Gleeson (who'll always be the real Michael Collins to me, after his perfect performance in The Treaty).
This is another suit I would consider having produced for myself - perhaps in a nice lovat shade of Donegal tweed...
