I can see the photos posted here just fine. I could not access the album of the original posting:

In the video you say good for a longer torso 42" maybe 44", Thats me! I like looser and longer fitting jackets. To my still untrained eye looks like the P to P is right at 21", so I wonder if it would be tight in the chest. Back length 25.5?, can't quite tell. Shoulder looks like 19"?. Which works for me depending on the maker, and sleeve length. Often I make up for sleeve length with a larger shoulder. Sleeve length 28? Wow, my untrained eye is right, won't need more shoulder.

Very interested. Did I get the measurements?

I will get it out tomorrow when I return home and confirm the numbers. I usually wear a 44 and it feels fine on me.

I FOSTER HORSEHIDE TRENCH COAT

Probably form the late 50s. I have handled other I Foster jackets. The Horse on the label signifies Horsehide. The label is on the zip out lining.

Nice black finish with just a bit of wear on the right elbow area. It needs stitching on the back with the large back pleat. All this is pictured. The Zip out lining works and is very nice condition. The light lining is worn under the arms and one other spot, with some discoloration in one area. The top button is not sewn, but in the pocket. One button hole is enlarged, but works.

This is not a heavy Barnstormer weight jacket. You can see in the video it is a lighter weight.

It must be at least a 44 if I can wear it that comfortable. There is no size label in the jacket

Beautiful mid-50s Windward Classic in brown Horsehide. Marked size 40. I call this a classic as it was reproduced by the Aero company. It is the eptime of 50s leather style. Short, tight at the waist, full in the upper body. What they call the “Ricky” look.

This is the far nicest condition of this Windward Style that I have seen. No issues and the jacket is probably 60 years old.

As nice of Horsehide leather you will find. The pictures tell the story.

Has a size 40 tag in the right pocket. I typically wear a 44/42. I'm currently 5'9” 183 in the video.

The jacket is a 50s Black Horsehide Excelled with only the Horsehide label remaining. There is another identical currently on ebay with the Excelled label. Some of these labels were only lightly glued on. They may have made it for sale unbranded.

The seam under the right arm is loose and will need sewing, the right under arm seam is loosening.

The right pocket bag is completely missing.

Zipper is generic original that is well sewn. Chest zipper is fine also.

lining is very nice with a light quilt.

Collar has original lining and hang tab. leather crease of collar has slight finish wear.

Both side adjustment belts are good.

It is horsehide and it is Stiff. Lack of being worn may contribute to the stiffness. Some of the stiffness is just this mix of Horsehide. The leather is quite nice condition..again it hasn't been worn much.

It is 50s Style all the way. Short, broad shouldered, square. Big sleeves. Low belt to cinch to hips. It has some weight. This is the origins of the Aero Highwayman.

I love the way this one fits me. The shoulders appear padded, but they are not. Just stiff straight across the shoulders. I have a Taubers coming in tomorrow that should replace this one.

Not marked for size, easily 42/44 despite whatever the measurements show.

You will not see a 50s Black Horsehide half belt jacket come around too often. Lots of other styles.

Late 1940s Broadsher brown leather half-belt. I've seen other Broadsher jackets with a Horsehide tag. This does not have one. I will consider it Cowhide.

It is a light weight, “windbreaker” weight. Very nice for warmer climates and nice warmer days. Nice detail work on the action back. Well sewn late 40s Talon zipper.

Leather is in excellent condition with one under arm needing seam stiching.

This is marked as a size 38,

Another 50s classic. This is in the Windward style with two slanted pockets, short wasted, “Rick” style.

I have seen/owned other jackets in the Windward Style, but have never seen a black on. This is an incredible find, but it is marked a size 18 so limited persons to wear.

Both pocket pull chains are missing. The main zipper is fine and all three work as they should. Wear along the neck line as pictured. This one will need seam stitching under one arm

I have no idea what a size 18 is relative to. Look at the numbers
