Vintage Indianapolis 500 Team Jackets

Pretty cool and somewhat mysterious find yesterday. 2 matching vintage nylon racing jackets for a Indy 500 team, but made in Canada. Lots of cool details, and in great shape. I've never been into these before, but they fit well and are very cool. Just thought I'd share.

Very nice! Any indication of date? I'd presume early 60s?

Puts me in mind of the jacket Elvis wore in Speedway (1968), though his looks to me more cotton than nylon (hard to tell in photos sometimes)?

If I had to guess based on the zips and labels, I'd say mid-late 60's. Great cut, snap cuffs, and cool quasi-Mandarin collars.

Also; who knew vintage Indy cars would look SO MUCH cooler than the modern ones!
