Is Dafont safe? I'm always hesitant about downloading stuff.
Torpedo, I have experienced this myself. In order for a computer to recognize a font, it must be installed on the machine, regardless of the machine it was sent from. Think of it like this: I can speak French to you, but if you dont know French, youre not gonna understand it. The difference, though, is that the receiving computer can change into something it can understand, which is its programmed default font.
9 years has passed since the last post? geez what has happened to this place? I guess people have moved on or life got in the way. Thanks for this post not only to resurrect a great thread topic but to show me a font that I think is great! its a really Good one!(I realize this is an old thread, and the op was for specific fonts.)
I had found my favorite vintage font when I was collecting pins on Pinterest for my style ideas. The one I like is Raleigh Gothic Condensed from 1934. I take to this font in particular due to its minimalist and masculine design. It's what I have been using to make labels for my oil blends and other things.
