Steerhide Indian Ranger-style jacket. Likely made by Fidelity, as indicated by the snap epaulettes, snaps on the belt and chain loop hanger. In his book "Motorcycle Jackets: A Century of Leather Design," Rin Tanaka suggests there may have been a connection between Fidelity of Boston and Indian Sportswear of Springfield, Mass.

Of this style, Aero says "possibly the finest example of a Motorcycle jacket ever made." James Dean wore one, which says everything about the cool design--particularly the collar.

The steerhide has lots of graining, patina and character. Very supple with no cracks or flaking. The brown stitching looks fantastic against the black leather. All snaps and zippers work perfectly. YKK main zip and Talon sleeve zips. No holes in the pockets. No holes in the quilted black lining in the body and sleeves. There is a minor .5" stitching separation on the left sleeve cuff (pictured). I've fully cleaned and conditioned the jacket. Ready to wear.

Measurements
Chest: 23"
Shoulders: 18.75"
Sleeve: 26" following the curve
Length from bottom of collar: 25"

Asking $250, price includes CONUS shipping.
