Vintage Carlson Panama 7 1/4

This is a vintage Carlson Panama fedora with a generous 3" brim. Size 7 1/4, head opening is 7 7/8" x 6 3/8". Hard to find a wide brim like this in a vintage straw. The details in the weave are very nice and the natural color is fantastic; beautiful hue. Not sure what the open crown height is, but the blocked height is approx. 4 3/8" at the front. If you're partial to re-blocking, you could probably wet block and push this up a lot higher, considering the 3" brim width. Otherwise, enjoy it as is in the warm weather. The leather sweatband is soft and the straw is in EXCELLENT shape for a vintage straw; very pliable and soft. It takes easy to steam and shaping. Comes with a removable black pug.
