Museum quality un worn fresh vintage Borsalino "Piuma" or Feather. Size 7 1/4 or Punti 5 1/2. Measures 8 x 6 1/2. Bound edge brim is 2 5/8. Man I wish this was my size!!!
Gorgeous felt feels like new . Light as a feather. Incredible hat. Liner is mint with oil skin protector . Leather is solid. Liner tag under sweat. Crown ribbon is 3/4 and matches the thin ribbon in brim.
Beautiful in every way Borsalino!!!
I lightly steamed the center crease out that was from being in box all this time so I will ship out of box rather than fold it all up again .
Asking 245. With Original box/ Or trade for larger size fedora of similar vintage.

I'm wondering whether it is wearable right out of the box when traveling with it in the box. Or, does it require steaming and shaping every time it is put into the box? Is the last photo before steaming?

Personally I would keep it out of the box and wear it . If your Traveling with it I'd treat it like any other fedora and not fold it up.
