Not to nitpick- but where in Western MA? I'm a Western Mass-hole by birth, so I was curious if it was areas I knew.

That's not nitpicking!

The book doesn't necessarily deal as much with the regions of western Mass, as it does with the people there. This volume is particularly focused on the turn of the 20th century to around 1920. Details a couple hundred founding families and their histories. There must be 100 full-page photos in this book.
