I'm selling a one of a kind Cap/Hat. It's a Sears Newsboy in a big size 7 1/2 with ALL it's original Paperwork, Original Box, Original Cap liner Paper. I'm not sure it was ever worn actually.

It cost .89cents in 1935. See the original Invoice. Plus the original Sears Envelope that the owner sent in to order his items.

It's truly a time capsule.

I do see one moth nib on the back, but that's all I see. Not bad for 90 years on a shelf.

Price is $500.00. Yes I realize thats a bit more than the .89 cents originally paid, but does another one of these exist like this?

I live in Illinois, about 45 miles from Carthage, IL. The Carthage jail is where Mormon Founder Joseph Smith was killed.

I've had great "case candy" in vintage guitar cases, but never in my clothing buys.

What a find, and the cool link to the original Sears Catalog.

Quite a find, indeed. Clearly special and rare, and probably should be in a Museum. But, last night on “Pawn Stars” a prospective seller of a rare item (I can’t even recall what it was) was told that “just because it’s rare doesn’t necessarily mean it’s worth a fortune…”
You may need to include a jar of Vaseline in order to fetch your starting asked price. BOLOTS!!

Funny. Yes Pawn Stars always pay the Highest Price. Is $500 really a Fortune? It's twice what a high end reproduction cost. What do you do with the Vaseline?
