I want a vanson c2, I wear a 46 in most Vansons, does the C2 fit true to size. It also looks short.

I understand that the C2 has a shorter length versus C so I believe this is a C2. The length down the back measured 24.5” from base of collar. At 5’9” 200# it’s a tad bit roomy.

Maybe we should create a new tread for posting Vanson's measurements. Something similar to the info in the old Army Depot A-2 site.

The second photo in the previous post shows the length difference and where they would sit Re your waist.
Sturgis is to the rear, the Comet lying on top, shoulders of both parallel and in line as best I could.
Sturgis is at least 2 inches or 5 cm longer. Plus it has "elasticated" sections in the waistband.
I wear the perforated Comet more often , and on "hot" days 32C+
On cooler days it's actually too cool on the move so you have to judge the daily temperature correctly.

Here are "fit pics" of the Comet in Firenze leather. Bought new in Australia from a motorcycle shop retailer.
Shows the length and how it sits Re your beltline. Stock Vanson production off the shelf 44". No customisation.

With the "ziptight" sleeves they make good riding jackets. All of mine are unarmoured.

The C indeed has a longer length than the C2.This is my C in brown, according to Vanson dated around 1989, in size 44 with quilted liner.
