FANTASTIC VANSON MOTORCYCLE JACKET
IN COMPETITION-WEIGHT LEATHER
IN COMPETITION-WEIGHT LEATHER

Chest: 23 3/4
Sleeve: 25
Shoulder: 19 1/2
Length: 25
This jacket dates from 2002, and is cut from their competition-weight steerhide. The lives up to its reputation--it's thick, heavy, and developing a beautiful grain. This is the leather that will keep you safe in a crash while still looking utterly cool at a California bar or Pennsylvania diner!
The jacket is their CHP model. It's a classis bike jacket, with a bi-swing action back for ease of movement, side laces to ensure a perfect fit at the waist, snap-close belt loops for an optional belt, heavy Vanson zippers on the front, cuffs, and pockets, and a deep leather-lined concealed-carry interior pocket, which closes securely with a snap. Good for your service weapon.... or your wallet and keys!
This is lined in rayon for ease of wear, and comes complete with its original removeable Vanson faux-mouton collar for warmth.
This is a Vanson, so that it's almost 25 years old means that it's even better than when it was first bought. It's developing lovely grain, and is extremely comfortable to wear. The zippers all move nice and smoothly--although the male end of the main zipper is a little loose right at the bottom, and so a little care is needed. But this can safely be ignored, or else would be a quick and easy fix.
Vansons hold their value very, very well--I was surprised to see this model going for around $500 - $600 on eBay. But I have a personal objection to profiting from things I bought here (this was from JackBroChill), so I'm just asking the same as I paid: $345, boxed, shipped, and insured in the USA. As always, offers are very welcome!
(I'm only selling as I'm chasing the dream of only having two jackets... down from a height of an absurd 36!)
