Hello all in the Fedora Lounge!
Up for sale is one of my favorite pieces that just doesn't get enough wear these days (as I am no longer able to ride) a Vanson Chopper in their famed competition weight cowhide. If you know, you know. This leather is incredibly robust as well as being incredibly stiff out of the box. I have worn this beauty on and off for a few seasons (I am the second owner) and although it has been broken in some, this jacket has miles to go and truly feels like wearing a suit of armor. The jacket is in great condition, with only supeficial wear marks around general areas such as the cuffs as well as on the arm seams as well as the main front zipper. The quilted lining is in very great condition, there are no rips, stains or tears in the lining as well as no strange aromas or odors. All parts, zips and snaps function properly and smoothly. This jacket is such a beautiful heirloom piece and it is a shame to let it go, however I am hoping it will serve someone better, that is able to wear it purposefully, and with much more frequency.
Here is another description from the Thurston Brothers website:
"The Vanson Chopper brings the best of vintage British motorcycle style back with Vanson craftsmanship and materials! This uncompromising motorcycle jacket has nickel hardware, diamond stitch quilting on shoulders and elbows, double nickel side buckles, single-point yoke, shoulder gussets, and dropped back. The jacket is made of Vanson's premium Competition Weight cowhide and is built for performance, looks, and longevity. A horizontal wallet pocket, vertical snap pocket, and lightweight black rayon liner are all standard on every Vanson Chopper jacket."
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out. Asking $500 USD net to me plus shipping on PayPal F&F. I have prior purchasing history here, as well as a 100% feedback rating on Ebay (crc111).
