Vanguard Leather of America Horsehide Motorcycle Jacket

I just bought this jacket and have not received it yet. Looks like it’s in really nice condition. The seller said it was made in the United States but I don’t see any label inside that says that? Googled Vanguard and it seems like it came up that they never made a Jacket in horse side only cowhide but there’s clearly a labeled sewing in this jacket that says horse side, and I could tell by the picture it looks like Horsehide Leather. The seller was not familiar with leather jackets at all so they gave the best information that they could. What do you guys think? Do you think it’s a good find? Do you think it’s made in America when I receive it? I guess I could tell better if it’s really Horsehide.

Well, considering that the tag is written in German, it's pretty unlikely that it's made in the USA.

Tag translation:

genuine leather
lining 100% polyester
genuine leather
valance 100% polyester

That is a great looking CHP jacket. If the price isn't something overly extravagant, I would recommend you get it, especially if the belt is included in the deal.

Yeah. Vanguard Leathers is a Pakistani brand, so to call it, and of the lowest possible level. Horribly made, cut, designed & slapped together.
I would be inclined to believe that it could be made from horse leather because why wouldn't it be, which just shows how such fact in per se makes no difference regarding the quality of the jacket.

Hi Thank You. I bought the Dallas Leather Jacket. I know I Paid $68 Total. Seller still needs to ship. And it does come with the Belt. The Belt is Missing the Buckle.

Hi Great Now I know what to look for found on Amazon and made in USA. If buy on Amazon I save in Shipping Cost from Safariland. THANK YOU!
