Hello Ladies,

Require your help please, I have a set of Braun gas curlers which are amazing and cannot live without, I'm off to a friends wedding in Las Vegas next week and I know I cannot take the gas cartriges with me in my luggage as they are prohibited.

Just wondered if they sell any gas cartriges in the USA that would be compatible with my styler? (they are Braun and either green or blue in colour, blue being the largest size and they are isobutane) Silly question I know but I don't want to have to fork out for a set of tongs either here or out there which will work on the 110volt system rather than our 240volt.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Estelle :)

A quick Google reveals they sell them in the US, so just pick some up over there (a review on amazon says they sell them at Walgreens) or get your friend to order you some from Amazon.com /drugstore.com/somewhere similar!

I think there are amazing, I've used them for a few years now, they heat up quick and you can get really good curls with them...

I never did find the gas canisters in Vegas though, shame....

Here is a picture of them, they are fantastic for camping out (we do a lot of car shows) as they don't use electricity, so first thing in the morning in the tent I come out looking glam.... Just don't drop them on your forehead... I have lots of burn marks from them over the years....

I've never heard of these. Do you have a picture? I'd like to try them but of course I'm in the states. Are they popular elsewhere?

We used to have them here in holland en even used them in our salon,
but we couldn't get those gas cartriges anymore so we don't have em.

but it was really easy.
