Thanks Steve, Just thought I'd check here first. I'll send them and email and then post here with the answer to share what I find.I own 2 US WINGS flight jackets. A US NAVY type G1 flight jacket and a USAF current issue type A2 flight jacket. Im happy with both but I cant see anything on either label that says ' made in the USA.' However, the quality seems pretty good to me but Im not an expert in leather garments.
If you have to know, E mail them and ask them a direct question. Which of their coats is domestic made ? Then let us all know.
My very first flight jacket years ago was a Landing Leathers jacket. I contacted the manufacture about their leather and was told they were made of pig skin.Im not upset if my jackets made in Pakistan. Their nice jackets. Not cheap looking either. Way better than the Landing Leathers jacket my wife bought me for knockin around in. Fake leather is obvious too for this Chinese made garment.
I own both types of jackets and the Signature Series jackets do have much thicker leather. I've bought a lot of flight jackets over the years from most of the jacket makers and no jacket fits me better than a US Wings.Hey everyone! I've been away from the lounge for a few days. I didn't realize I was missing all of this action!! Great discussion. A little fact I did find out, indeed only the Signature Series line are the only ones made in the USA. (excluding some of the Schott's and Cockpit jackets that US wings also sells) So, if it has the made in the USA label it's part of that line. They are quarter to a half pound heavier than the non USA made ones due to thicker quality leather. Interesting! mystery solved! Thanks !

You could be right but they do still advertise that they are made of "Real Leather".Could have been pig skin back in the day but I think the current product is FAUX leather. ( ARTIFICIAL )
