Wow, I guess I shouldn't feel so bad. So what's the deal, Scotrace? I thought April 3rd was about when this whole thing started. I would have thought that you'd get yours...KC

Don't feel bad, boys. I started this whole shebang with the announcement, and I got shut out too. Got the same email as the all the others. I've just kept quiet about it until now.[huh]

Oh well. I'm glad those who did get their jackets made good. That's all that important to me.

Yes, there seems to have been a miscommunication between the warehouse and the sales depts. They ended up promising stuff to people that they didin't have.

They were going to send me a credit note or a refund cheque, which of course would have been useless to me over in the UK. So I called them and chose another jacket.

Give them a call thay still have some stocks but you probably have to go to your second and third choices. Even so very good prices.

BTW a XS A2 measures 22" pit to pit.

They never charged my credit card, so there is no reason for a refund in my case. According to Tina, they are out of all mediums and larges for all styles. Man, talk about a miscommunication. And I was wondering, why did it take so long (two weeks in my case) to find out this information from their wherehouse? Is there wherehouse in Mongolia or some other hard to reach part of the world?

Okay, here's the latest. They have a few things in medium and small. All they had in medium was a vintage cow A2, so I ordered that. But who knows if it will fit. Seems by reading this forum and Indy Gear that sizing is all over the map and seems to run quite large...KC

Dont know why, just Emailed and several days later got a response. Called and they had my size. By the way, hanging in my closet for about 100.00 bucks. I'm 5250 or so responses behind Scotrace, I'll never catch up. I quit.

Also keep in mind that the sizes run large. I just recieved a small from a return of a medium and the small is still too large so an xs may work for you if you wear a medium or 40 like I do. I don't have the patience or desire to go through the return process again so I will keep this very nice, well made, beautiful bargain of a jacket. [huh]

Yes, the Indy jackets from U.S. Wings do run a bit large. My size XL Indy is a little larger than any of my size 48 G-1s.

I'm not sure how it happened, but I now have a size large goat skin Indy jacket. Picked it up today. I am certain there are no more to be had.

It's very nice. It fits about perfectly - almost like a shirt in proper A2 fashion. Sleeves are just right.

Finally got my medium A2 vintage cow from US Wings. Well, it really fits like an extra large. Glad I didn't order an extra large like they suggested. The medium fits me pretty good. I'm 6'1" and 200 pounds. I"ve never worn a medium anything since 6th grade.

Anyway, the jacket is okay, certainly worth $80. But compared to my US Authentic, it is very second rate...KC

I had just ordered my G&B Expo when this US Wings sale kicked in. I love my G&B, but it was hard to beat the deal on these US Wings jackets.
