Unnamed horsehide Perfecto style

Greetings.

Clearly, I’m new here, but figured it was the best place to find a good home and info for dad’s old jacket. Don’t know much about it. Would like to know as much as possible along with sale.

Leather seems very supple and healthy. Has a rough spot (pic) on left shoulder and less than 2” of stitching separated on same shoulder, just rear of epaulette (pic). Also, there’s an amateur sewing repair to the lining along the waste. No size, but I would estimate a men’s small-medium.

What I know: dad traded a pistol for this second hand jacket in the late 70’s from a colleague who was the original owner. The jacket had a Moulton collar that disintegrated years ago. The only remaining tag is is the horsehide tag which is identical to a Knopf, but maroon on white instead of gold on black.

I’d like to get $350.
