Unknown rolled gold proppelling pencil

I couldn't find anywhere to put this so feel free mods to move ifyou know where there's an appropriate thread.

Acquired today in pretty good working condition, still full of leads, some light plate loss to screw off lead receptacle and a couple of minor 'dinks', one on the main body and a couple on the screw off lid.
Any ideas re age or maker?

It's in the style of a 'Yard o Lead' propelling pencil but lots of manufacturers produced a similar style.

As Robrinay said, a lot of makers made this style. I would say that the "cap" end is very reminiscent of Wahl and their "Eversharp" range but the clip is not the same. So I would say imitational Wahl, and stylistically probably 1930s.

Get one of these Eddie!, classy and never needs sharpening also is full of spare leads....now I've realised I NEED some other examples oh and possibly a matching pen and pencil set...here we go again!
