For sale is a possibly 70s/80s Perfecto jacket in black steerhide. 42" chest. Would suit a slim, average height 40 to 42 chest.
This was bought from a non-ebay website and labelled as a 44" but is smaller and shorter than advertised. It was also described as 50s vintage but this is 70s at the very earliest. Rather than chase a refund I figured I would list it on ebay and on here. Looking for £55.
Jacket is a decent Perfecto repro nice grainy and worn in black steerhide, lining is intact and clean, a little musty from long term storage but that will disappear rapidly on wearing. It looks like the jacket has been 'down the road' on a motorcycle, some scuffing to the outer leather across the back, sleeves and rear collar (see pictures) , nothing too deep and adds to the patina. One of the sleeve zips has lost its pull tab but still works. Leather is in good condition apart from the scuffs, loads of the lovely grain that seems standard on good pre-1990s motorcycle jackets. Its well broken in and just needs a few days of wear to lose its stiffness from storage.
Also for sale on ebay but can do something outside of Ebay if it saves on shipping and so on.
If you are average height, slim build 40 to 42 inch chest and looking for a cheap beater vintage perfecto style jacket that doesnt look like a cheap perfecto copy this should fit the bill.
Approximate measurements are as follows:
Label states 44" chest but measurements and fit are for someone between 40" and 42" chest.
Pit to pit when zipped across the front: 21 inches
Base of collar to rear hem: 25 inches
Sleeves measured from shoulder seam to cuff around the outside: 24 inches
Shoulders measured across the rear from the outer gusset seam to outer gusset seam: 20 inches
Waist laid flat, zipped, across the bottom hem, left to right: 18.5 inches
Looking for £55 on or outside Ebay.
