Greetings, Fedora Loungers!
I came across a vintage Presto-style black leather motorcycle jacket recently, and while the tag’s in tact, it’s faded to the point that I can’t read much, and whatever I’ve been able to glean hasn’t helped me track it down yet.
Off-white / cream label, with red ink and what appears to be a star and a cow.
I’m reading the last word along the bottom as “Hide”, so I’d assume the whole thing is “Real Cow Hide”, or maybe “Red Cow Hide”? Or could be entirely different.
Jacket is fairly thick leather, with a somewhat unique double buckle strap along the waist / sides (see pics). YKKs.
I could be WAY off here, but it seems like a 80s vintage of some sort. Feels like it could be American, but I could also absolutely see it being Korean (though the star/cow tag logo screams Japanese to me, for some reason).
Any experts out there with help identifying… anything?
Many thanks, much appreciated!!
