Hey all,

Originally posted this in the Finds and Deals thread, but figured this was more appropriate. Picked up a leather jacket via impulse buy at Held Over on haight street in San Francisco. Pretty great thrift store. Anyhow, jacket is a tad beat up with scuffs, some blemishes, and a tearing liner, but leather felt and looked good. Couldn’t pass up as it was only 65 dollars.

Any idea what this may be? Generic, no tags. Maybe even the year? Not the thickest of leathers and the shoulders aren’t double seamed (is that what is it called?).

Thank you View attachment IMG_0360.jpeg View attachment IMG_0356.jpeg

11/10 find. You can't buy this kind of jacket anymore at any price. 1970's, I think it would be safe to say. There used to be a lot of small makers then, probably one such jacket.

Although, something about it speaks made in Italy to me but I cannot be sure, of course.

I did own a jacket with these exact snaps... What was it... Perhaps it was a leather vest. I cannot remember at the moment.

Fantastic jackets. Highest possible quality plus all of their styles were very original and distinct, design-wise. Your jacket is a unique take on the trucker style, as well so it just might be theirs.

Their label was also a leather patch with a hand-written brand name.

Thank you so much for taking the time to ID! I told my wife, who plans to also wear the jacket (we are the same size haha) and she was excited to hear that it could potentially be something special!

The buttons in the flight jacket you linked are identical. Very cool!
