I've always fancied this wool lined jacket from the 2000 film "U-571". It's seen worn by both the U-boat captain (Thomas Kretschmann) and later impromptu captain, Lt. Tyler (Matthew McConaughey). I've never heard of any U-boat captain wearing such a jacket, but the movie takes a plethora of liberties with history as it is, so I wouldn't doubt this one being among them. Anyway, I digress. Anybody know of the jacket used, or of a jacket of similar design? Closest I've ever seen was worn by Tom Hardy as Bane in "The Dark Knight Rises", though the jacket worn in that movie is much longer on the length, and has no wool cuffs.
