Two Vintage 50s: Alden Horsehide 46-Windward Black Steerhide 44

1950s Horsehide Leather Alden (Windward Style) jacket. Styled after the classic Windward that has been reproduced by Aero Leathers. I have both in the video. Watch the Videos for description and details. Excellent condition dark brown horsehide. At least a size 46 if not a 48. I wear a 44 and this is really big on me. Room for more.

I'm waiting payment on my Gandalf. I advertised here, but not a 40 more likely 38. Those jackets are so cool, so small. I don't even look for a 44/42 I don't think they even made them! I was that size when those jackets were made. I had a rough out seude in orange, letterman style, had a funky orange cap to go with it. It was that 1970 color. I like all that fashion better today than I did then, most I couldn't have afforded anyway. thrift shops leathers were from the 50s, 40s, but it didn't show up that often.

I've got that Brooks Trucker sitting next to me warming up. It is a 42. I can get it on, I would rather have a 44 in this jacket. There are two 44s on ebay so I'll have to shop there, so I want to go there with what it takes to replace this one. thats sorta the price; replacement value. I think the Brooks stuff in this color is very consistent and the highest quality I think they out put. It is very nice quality leather and very cool style.

Brooks Trucker, that's the one with the two chest pockets & the full action back? From the video, right? That's a beautiful jacket! Got me to look online for one but couldn't find any. TBH, not really sure what to look for. What's the price of these, usually?
