Navajo craftsman Chester Benally channel inlay ranger buckle set. I'm not sure about this much belt jewelry for myself. I sure like it on the desktop. We'll see when I put it on one of my belts.b

Nice work. I have a similar reaction to lapidary pieces - admire the design and workmanship but find I don't wear them very much. I have a massive Zuni bolo tie that I think I have worn out of the house on one occasion.

A few things I haven't posted before.

Coin silver squash blossom necklace c.1920s, heavy (200+grams) and well crafted - not made for the tourist market. Tufa cast naja with horses hooves. Purchased by the seller out of pawn at Toadlena trading post in the 1960s.

A recent addition to my small but growing collection of old trade beads... this is a strand of very rare 7 layer glass chevron rosetta beads, made in Venice sometime around 1500. They were likely originally traded in Africa before arriving in the Americas. The 16 old beads show significant wear from age and use but are in quite remarkable condition overall. They are strung with 19th century Venetian yellow heart and antique Bohemian (I think) cobalt melon beads. I am thrilled to be the current caretaker for this beautiful set.
