This looks to be a great movie with a great cast. The clothes shown in the trailer are worth the price of admission. I believe it's coming out around Thanksgiving.

Could be a good flick - Trumbo is a very interesting 20th century figure.

Richard Warren, my thoughts exactly.

Trumbo was one of thoose obedient Communists, who weren't just fellow-travelling "anti-fascist" WW2 apologists of the USSR, but one who also defended Stalin both during the Hitler-Stalin pact and after WW2, when Communism was extending it's stranglehold across the world.

An interesting character of the era? Sure, but of the sort deserving a very critical look.
Certainly not someone to be portrayed as a "heroic genius and defender of freedom".
