Trading Post?

I am new here and have been wondering if the classifieds is only for items you want to sell
or if you can post items you would like to trade for similar items in different size, color,
material etc.
I seem to see posts for lots of people selling jackets in order to buy other jackets and a straight
trade might be a better solution if both can get what they want.
I would appreciate any information on this.

I have a size 42 Gibson Barnes Mark 31 goatskin A2.
I'm interested in trading for a russet horsehide A2 with approximately the same measurements.

I have another question regarding posting in the classifieds. Is this thread considered to be an ad for
the GB Mark 31 or can I post a specific ad with the name of the item in the title so people know what I have?
I also want to try and post some pictures of it.

Certainly post it in its own dedicated thread. There are a number of how to threads for posting photos. When it doesn't work, remember to de-select the checkbox!
