I recently found a top hat in the basement of my Masonic lodge.
I have no idea how old it is but my Masonic lodge is 200 years old and we have many artifacts that are over 100 years old. The only information that I have about the hat is it was made by Satchel and Sons, Hatters of London. I have tried searching for information and have come up empty. Can anyone provide me with some information or at least point me in the right direction please.

I will post a picture of the hat and the hat box as soon as I can get them taken. I didn't think of taking a picture of it when I found it.

In addition to the instinctive exterior shot(s), clear photos of the interior (sweat band, ribbon, tags, and liner trademark printing) will be essential for the experts here to judge the vintage. Sounds like an interesting find.
