Too short a brim or am I overthinking it?

Like some of the other posters I like the way the first looks just needs to be a bit shorter. Nothing wrong with the second but is has more of a cowboy look with the sides curled up.

How does the look of the second (brown) hat work for me? Daughter finally warmed up to my fedoras and says the western look is not me. I'm fine with it

Memphis, I liked your Buckaroo so much that I reshaped a western of mine to resemble your brim. I think it looks good on ya.
I threw my hat on last night but then I changed my mind because I was going out in the city and the sun was already down. So I switched to a more appropriate stingy brimmed hat, in my mind, for nighttime activities.
Be a man of many hats and choose the right one for each occasion. They all look fine.
Not quite the right hat for out on the town.

There we go. Feels better and out the door we went.
