New F-4E Phantom Jacket Art

Paddy
I have had some overseas requests from Jet enthusiasts of
some of my noseart. So I will be sharing the ongoing work and completion of
a modern A-2 depicting USAF Mig Killer "Ritchie's" F-4E Phantom jet. Of course I will not be sharing all my secrets but enough for those interested in noseart. Hopefully it will be welcomed by those interested in modern noseart.
Cheers John I will be posting pics.

What an aircraft! It's hard to imagine a more raucous airplane taking off with a heavy load on full afterburners. Although my favorite part was at the other end when they dropped the ordinance. That was a show!

Thanks for the artwork, although the pictures would be easier to visualize if they were all in one thread.

The F-14 Tomcat Jacket Art Studio Perspective

Mick Here is how the F-14 Tomcat was painted. Enjoy.. Using plastic paints
and some real engine grease for effect!

Hope this helps you out.. part II coming..Happy Trails time for me to disappear thru the hole

The F-14 is nice, but the F-4 will always be my favorite.

So why can't you post multiple pictures in different messages but all in the same topic, rather than start different topics for each picture? That way the pictures would all be together, and we could just scroll down to see them.

What an artist! When the pictures are all in one thread, like they are now, it is so much easier to see the evolution of the painting. Love it. Thanks for letting all of us see how you work.

Just did some tidying up of these threads gents.

Just popped them altogether and changed the title as I really think the boys will get much more mileage out of this one now (rather than it being scattered all over the shop).

Good luck with this one, I think it's going to be a winner!!:eusa_clap

Thanks Paddy for redoing and setting up the format. I am getting on in years
and soon will be collecting social security. You never know when the "creepy crauwley" will get to my hand and fingers. So I am happy to share the workings of leather jacket art. We need to perpetuate the art to the younger cats as many of us old dudes move on up to the B-17 skies up above. Some may be inspired to try it on. I encourage other jacket artists to share their inner secrets. I learned alot myself from a jacket artist named Eddie Cavagnaro who was with the 8th Air Force in England, he has since passed away and I carried his torch since then. Here's to Eddie!! Thanks Paddy

Well finally after toiling in the cellar the jacket is done.
I am just getting used to my new Vista equipped computer and will be attempting to get the jpegs on board here.
Cheer and a happy springtime
