Three Mr Green hats modern stingies US 7 1/8, handmade in the U.S.

All hats are size 7 1/8 and will work for a size 7 as well. The hats feature a grosgrain sweatband which makes it very comfortable to wear and completely crushable with no damage whatsoever to the hat. The felt is very soft and flexible. The felt has a slightly longer nap than the typical short, dense finish. Mr Green calls it sueded finish.

Mr Green hats is an offshoot of the Louise Green Millinery in L.A.
Their mens line, Mr Green hats, consists of well-made rabbit fur felt hats in the 1960s stingy style. They retail for $245.- (puggaree bands) and $230,- (petersham bands).

If you're into stingies or if you're looking for some nice lids for your kids, these are 60,- each (or 150,- for all of them) shipped from Germany to the U.S.
These were my first hats, then I found out that stingies don't work for me. I think they do work great for kids and, quite surprisingly, also for ladies, especially smaller-framed persons. I gave a few more of these styles away and they were greatly appreciated.

Your description, and the general consensus here, seems to indicate a general dislike for the stingy brim fedora. I wonder why.
I have a small face, and though I am a total newbie to this world of fine hats, I think that a restricted brim and not too tall crown work best for me.
Are you still selling these hats?

Yes you can still have them. I'll check shipping cost to Canada tomorrow. If it's the same as shipping from Germany to the States then yes, they'd be yours for $80.

As for the preference of wider brims, well most of us here are more into the styles pre-1960s - mostly 1930s to 1950s. However, there are quite a few members who also wear stingies, and some who prefer them over the wider brims. It all boils down to personal preferences.
If you like stingies, I'm sure the Mr Green hats will be a good choice. The vintage silk ribbon is quite something. Even the felt smells good.
