Are we allowed a “time-out” ?

I’ve seen “Three on a Match” (’32)

but not “Two for the Seesaw” (’62)

Oh Heavens....where’s Lizzie? :(

She's Fedora Lounge's "This or That's" Pele'. Re my above - please edit in anyway you think will help.

and as to the game:

"Two for the Seesaw" ('62) or "Three on a Match" ('32)?

I let it go when you called her “Lizziepedia”....
but “Pele” is a tad too much!
Take it back or I’ll snatch that pizza away!

“Two for the Seesaw” (’62) or “Three on a Match” (’32)?

Since "this or that" is a game, I was going for a sport analogy and, since we have so many non-US members, I was staying away from US-dominated sports. Oh well, can't please them all. I like "Lizziepedia" better myself. Oh, and being an ignorant American, Pele' is about the only soccer player I know.

It’s still ...”Two for the Seesaw” or “Three on a Match”?

SOS to Lizzie, I'm pretty sure you've seen both of these movies and "This or That" needs you to move the ball forward. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

In order to prevent a stalemate if your SOS is not answered,
why not change the question for the sake of continuity?

Well, I watched "Two for The Seesaw" last night, for the title was intriguing. The chemistry between Mitchum and Mclaine was palpable. It is nice to see Mitchum in a sympathetic role. Pleasant romance.
D
I still preferred "Three on a Match", for I find it more culturally relevant.

Miss Maine is an entity unto herself, Mr. Jake's. I do not believe that she can be summoned by any occult ceremony. She is more like Omar Kayam's finger, which, having writ, moves on.

It was someone else who was asking for Lizzie to participate in this thread.
I only know of her from the posts and videos she has made over the years.
I do know that she and you as well as others on this forum that I share things,
are folks I would like to meet in person someday.
I believe I would be the better for it.

Agreed. I enjoyed seeing him in a non-Mitchum role and enjoyed the edgy-for-its-time story.

Now that you answered - and with some much appreciated color - your new "this or that" is?

You are not the only one who feels that way, Mr. Jake's.

So enough with the praises.
We keep this up, her head won’t fit through
the Lounge door.

I’ll start.

Garden home or ranch style house?

Sorry. Missed your question.

Garden home. I always picture something like a bungalow surrounded by lovely plantings, something off of a post card from. 1906 or so:

RED FLAG!

Appreciate the tune...but could you kindly reply to the question?

Garden home or ranch style house?

sheesh!

Look, OM. I was typing my follow up, the question about music, at the same time that you were typing your question about houses. I have responded to your question in the usual manner, and kindly ask that you do so to mine.

Why not listen to them and see what speaks to you? I suspect that this sort of music many not be your cup of tea, but why not give it a try?

Earlier I thought that someone had substituted "The Terrible Tempered Mr. Bang" for our easy going Two Jakes.

I've tried but I just cannot bring myself to drink a cup of tea! :(

As far as music, I don't limit myself
to one style or era.

Bye the bye...
The cartoon you posted reminds me
of Krazy Kat and the flyin’ brick!
