Patsy Kelly .

Martha Ray or Joan Davis?

Joan Davis.

I always had an irrational fear of the universe collapsing into a singu!arity brought about by the vacuum which would be created should Martha Raye actually kiss Joe E. Brown, and so was never able to full!y enjoy her work, except, of course, in "Monseur Verdoux", where, working with Chaplin, she was in a blissfully Brown free zone.

Eugenie Besserer or Bea Benederet?

A voice calling out from the practice courts (where those who washed out in the early rounds kid themselves that they are improving their game for the next tournament play) shouts: "way to go 2Jakes, nice to see you playing on center court!"

The sad, woebegone owner of said voice then turns and, head down, dejectedly walks off the court knowing that there really won't be a next tournament for him / knowing that he won't every really play on center court.

And now, back to current play:

Dick Calkins “Buck Rogers” ?

Fred Harman’s “Red Ryder” ?

Way to go....FF You just served an ace!

When I go on the court I believe in this which has helped me
tremendously in the outcome of a match.

“Somebody may beat me, but they are going to have to bleed
to do it.”
(Steve Prefontaine)

Double hung windows.

Daisy Mae or Blondie?

First.

"Aerate" the rooms of your home now, although it's still too warm, outside?

Or wait, until it's getting darker and fresher? :)

By all means, let's address your household maintenance issues here.

Air it out now if you like.

And more to the thread's spirit:

How do you clean your rugs -

Vacuuming, shampooing or taking them outside to beat them with a broom?

N.B. thank you 2Jakes.
