Wow, that is a darn hard one. I'll give the nod to Armstrong in part because I know his stuff better and in part because he pops up in several movies I love. But I have nothing but praise for both.

I had not heard that version - impressive harmonizing. That said, I think the song does best when song solo as it emphasizes the mournfulness and pleading which is the song's core.

I need to set aside about 7 hours to watch the two, back to back. Intolerance is amazing in that it intertwine four stories at four different eras.

Mounds for two reason. While I love nuts, the nut on top of the Almond Joy, IMHO, upsets the simplicity of this particularly bar and Mounds are dark chocolate, whereas, Almond Joys are milk.

Hmmm...the NY Giants moved to San Francisco. The NFL team is the "New York Football Giants."

I always whiched that I could have seen games at Polo Grounds, and, of course, Ebbetts Field.

My dad went to his grave grumbling about the Polo grounds having been ripped down (and most other things).
