Part way up, so that the decorator may paint aquatic scenes above the tiles.

Telechron or Hammond?

Shamefully, I must confess that my standards must have begun to slip because we just recently got cable and I've found myself regularly watching the History Channel and some of its offering. Which leads to the question:

American Pickers or Pawn Stars?

"Pawn Stars," lately, they've been doing less BS of the family dynamic and more on the history of the items brought in - the part I enjoy. "American Pickers" can be great on a fun pick, but a lot of wasted time with the owners and office manager BS.

"Antiques Roadshow" or "Pawn Stars?"

First.

Stir your sugared coffee the classic circleing way OR rather swivel the spoon fast back and for, because it solves sugar faster and more effective?? ;)

Circling, on the odd day when I take ANYTHING in my coffee.

My ninety year old dad has lately been enjoying the Velocity channel non-stop (Mom's memory has failed to the point were she doesn't remember that she dislikes these shows ). Which? "Wheeler Dealers" or "Chasing Classic Cars"?

Why not reactivate?? :)

A Cardigan made of 100% Merino-wool, priced 59,99 or a Cardigan made of 50% Merino-wool/50% polyacrylic, priced 29,99??

Button-fly. I find them easier to work (zippers over time get wonky, button-flies get easier). Also, I like the vintage look and feel.

Side tabs or buckle back as a built-in tightening mechanism for pants?

Buckle back.
I have a pair of “pre-war” jeans.

The 1920s Levis blue jeans with buckle back.
These are new pair made in the USA by
Cone Mills.

I like the copper rivets which are on the back pockets
& the crotch area as well.

Legend has it that this was changed after Levis execs
got too close to a campfire when wearing these jeans.
Also complaints of the back pocket rivets which were
scratching school desks.

I’ve also read that because of WW2, there were many
other alterations and not only with clothes.
Anybody seen wood bumpers on cars from that period?
Or heard about women painting a line on the back of the
legs to simulate ladies silk hosiery?

Boxer shorts or bikini style briefs?

V-Neck, it goes on and your done. Cardigan has to much fussing with buttons and, unless really thoughtfully done, looks old-man-ish.

A twofer as they are related. In the classic Oxford cloth button down shirt do you want:

- Locker loop vs no locker loop?

- Pocket flap on chest pocket vs no flap?

I’m at that age where I don’t give a hoot whether it looks old on me or is not
a proper color for spring or fall.
If it’s comfy..I’ll wear the cardigan.... mostly unbutton and at the grocery
store that is kept super cold that only an eskimo would appreciate.

I have flaps on my army style khaki shirt when I go driving in the hill country.

But prefer Oxford button down without flaps or locker loops.

Soft silk-like or thicker cotton/blend socks ?

Folks don’t like it...can look the other way.

Cotton for casual clothes like chinos / silk with suits or dress trousers. That said, I like the feel of the cotton better.

(And I have a hook on the back of my closet door that is perfect for the locker loop - which is why I try to buy shirts with them.)

Slip-ons versus lace up casual sneakers (Classic Vans versus Chuck Taylors for example)?

Belts, to much fussing with suspenders and, today, it can look on some (like me) affected. I do like side tabs on dress trousers as I think the no-belt look is cleaner for that type of pants.

SeaVeas vs. Vans?
