There is another hatter in Oregon. John Fish is a hatter and leather craftsmen in Portland, Oregon. His website doesn't have any information at this time but his Instagram is very interesting and he has some nice looking hats. Some hats are distressed. I have not ordered a hat from him so I can't speak to the hats or prices but thought it would be a good idea to put this out there.

Thanks for posting, I did like reading about his story and journey into hatting.

I bought a super leather wallet from John. Hell of a nice guy, and very easy to work with.
The wallet, and his leather working skills, are top notch.

To start out, I have been making hats for about 2 years now and have dedicated most all of my energy into teaching myself the craft. I have used these first few years to really try to fully learn and understand the process and I am now ready to start to promote my business within a wider audience. Although I still have a lot to learn, I am confident in the quality of the hats that I make and stand behind my products 100% That being said, I am hoping to have a new website with more information as well as an online store open within the beginning of this next year. Until then if anyone should have any questions concerning my process, my products, or how to order please feel free to give me a call or shoot me an email. I look forward to meeting many more of you in the near future.

Mike, I didn’t look at the date before posting. My mistake. It would be nice to see more of his work and read some reviews from other members. His hats should be very nice as he is charging best quality prices.
