I had to come back for another look.

I could never piece together a comment quite as eloquently as Superfluous does so I will just say this. That jacket is quite something to behold. I dig it.

The jacket is a winner on all fronts.

While I was waiting today, I had the chance to look at the sleeves again

I've said it before and i'll say it again, i cannot believe how close to the edge of the leather he stitches! It's almost scary.
I didn't have Thedi on my list but this jacke tmight be the one to change my mind.
It is scary. That’s riding the rail man. You have to be very careful and confident to do that. You don’t want to “DB” it

Dude that is sewn so beautifully it’s actually terrifying. My God. Skill doesn’t even cover it. That’s Jedi level.

Not taking anything away from this jacket... as unquestionably... it is superb.
But that stitching quality is simply Thedi. My current twoThedi jackets have stitching as shown above. It is the reason i ordered two more.

Two other well known and praised makers covered on this forum... that i have had experience with... simply do not compare with Thedi's quality imo.

I’ve only had one Thedi. It was the padded CR model TB offers and it was just the same. I think the contrast stitching really highlights how well he can link the pieces. I’ve been tempted many times over to go to Thedi for my next jacket. It’s bound to happen. I just had to settle some other business first.

It’s all been said but when the muted black pops in the hide and the brindle of the hair pops a whole new level of art is going to evolve. The artistic craftmanship is black box rocket science stuff!

The standard version is very nice too.

I can’t help but to notice the similarities with the grizzly RRL is currently selling.

I think RRL has lots of really cool stuff. I’ve been eyeing a RRL indigo leather workcoat on ebay for some time now... However, the pricing is ridiculous considering what you can get from Thedi and others we discuss here.

I also find that RRL makes some really interesting pieces. Amazing knitwear especially. The prices are steep and you definitely get more value for money from makers like Thedi. Sometimes they also take the distressing a bit too far for my tastes although they still do it well.
