"Happy Birthday Kim"

Cupcake, Binkie knows his blond! Judging from your avatar, you should go for a cool blond, in other words neutral or ash. Please post pics when you're reborn a blonde!BinkieBaumont said:"Don't get confused poor "Cupcake' their are basically only a few tones available Neutral, Ash, & Golden, everything else is a cocktail, which your colourist designs for you, I am sure it will look wonderfull"

You were a blonde once?

Kim Novaks shade...that's an ash am I correct? I think that's what I'll be aiming toward. I find red/orange tones tend to wash me out.
Binkie, you really do know your blondes! Is it a passion of yours?
kamikat said:No, home dye is not all evil, however, it's also not all created equal nor up to every task. Whether or not you can do blond at home depends on a few things, a) the color of your natural hair and b) how light you want to go. Home color uses a 20 volume developer and can only lift 2-3 levels. If your hair is dark blond, it can not take you to platinum blond. As for the low lights, that might cause a problem, depending on how dark they are. Color can not lighten color, only bleach can. Something that you need to keep in mind, if you start doing an all over color, you will have to touch up the roots more often, usually every 4wks.
