The Tie Game: Identify Your US State Out of These Regional Ties

A recent post by Quigley Brown in the neck tie thread about the Georges Schreiber "Panorama of America" series by Raxon sparked an idea in my upstairs for a tie game. The series celebrates American States, and the website http://nastyoldties.com/gary.html pictures 45 of the presumed 48 ties (remember that Alaska and Hawaii probably aren't included because they were not states yet). I have combined the pictures and numbered each tie, although recognition goes to the website for the pictures.

The Game: Identify one tie that you believe represents a State and give a brief explanation as to why you make this connection.

The Rules: I figure one tie per person will make things last, but then again we will have overlapping and debates (desired:D).

The Prize: Like Gene Wilder as Willy Wonka says, "You get nothing! . . . Good Day, sir [or madam]."

You international members abroad feel free to chime in too! I hope this is fun, although I might have just wasted time?:p

The grizzly bear appears on the State flag, the mountains could be the Sierras, and there appears to be a waterfall resembling Yosemite.

I don't see one with an Alamo on it, so I'm out...

EDIT:18 is a scene from the opening credits of NEWHART, and in the interest of the family friendly nature of this site, I think 31 and 32 need to be separated a little more in the line-up.

I live in Tennessee. #37 looks like a Nashville theme to me with the guitars on it. I am originally from Florida. I didn't see one that really stands out as a Florida tie. #7 maybe.

43 looks like Arizona. Saguaro (state flower is the Saguaro cactus blossom and there is Saguaro National Park) and cowboys seems to fit. The Saguaro makes an appearance on the state quarter as well.
